The Conference will feature 4 days of technical presentations, workshops and poster sessions on current and emerging issues affecting the food processing industry, and a technical tour highlighting environmental issues. The Conference is sponsored by the Food Industry Environmental Council (FIEC), a coalition of 50 food processors and trade associations, including the American Frozen Food Institute, American Bakers Association, American Meat Institute, Grocery Manufacturers/Food Products Association and International Dairy Foods Association.

The Conference is attended by approximately 200 environmental professionals from Fortune 100 food and beverage companies, smaller food businesses, trade associations and consulting firms.

As a participant you will benefit from the wealth of technical information shared during the presentations and the networking with industry peers and environmental professionals. The Conference also provides the opportunity to earn professional development hours toward your professional certification. Even as a first time attendee, we welcome your participation to not only chair a technical session but to present a case study or poster during the Conference.

If you are interested in participating in the 2008 Conference, please do not hesitate to contact Alan Carter, 2008 Conference Chair, at (614) 430-2706 or by email at acarter@pirnie.com.
