The American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) is the national trade association that promotes and represents the interests of all segments of the frozen food industry. AFFI fosters industry development and growth, advocates on behalf of the industry before legislative and regulatory entities, and provides additional value-added services for its members and for the benefit of consumers. AFFI will fulfill its mission via the following general objectives:
Public Policy – AFFI serves as the advocate for the frozen food industry. The Institute helps establish appropriate public policy positions for the industry. AFFI informs, educates and communicates with its members, government, media, customers and consumers, and develops strategic alliances with other organizations.
Industry Growth and Development – AFFI undertakes programs to enhance consumer and customer perceptions of the frozen food industry and its products in an effort to increase frozen food consumption. AFFI serves as the industry spokesperson and provides its members networking and education opportunities, as well as trend and statistical data.
Membership and Association Management – As a member-driven organization, AFFI recruits and retains the membership of companies within the frozen food industry by providing high-value programs and services that respond to member needs. AFFI operates in a manner that promotes sound financial management as well as operational efficiency and effectiveness.
