Food Logistics Forum

June 6-8, 2010

Hyatt Regency
Lake Tahoe Resort

Lake Tahoe, Nevada

The American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) and t
he Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) are partnering to co-host the Food Logistics Forum, June 6-8, at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Building on the 26 year foundation established by AFFI’s Distribution and Logistics Conference, this new collaboration promises to provide attendees with expanded educational and networking opportunities.

AFFI sponsored its first Distribution and Logistics Conference in 1983 when Ronald Reagan was president, cell phones where unheard of and the Baltimore Orioles were the World Series Champions. Much has changed since then, including the pace with which changes confront us.  Nowhere is the addage, if you're standing still, you're falling behind more true than in the area of logistics.

Combining the resources of AFFI and GCCA, the Food Logistics Forum will provide participants the information and networking resources they need to navigate this ever-changing logistics landscape.  Logistics professionals serving every link in the food chain - from transportation managers at frozen food manufacturing facilities to public refrigerated warehouse operators - will benefit from the educational resources, regulatory information and business development opportunities offered by this joint venture.

Plan now to stay current on regulatory developments, technological advances and economic trends affecting all aspects of the frozen food supply chain, by attending the 2010 Food Logistics Forum in Lake Tahoe.
