The Portola Plaza's De Anza Ballroom was packed for AFFI's annual meeting and keynote breakfast.

Hall of Fame Basketball Coach Bob Knight visits with Chairman of the Frozen Food Foundation Reid Wagstaff and his wife, Susi.

Before the keynote breakfast, Bob Knight is greeted by Senator Gordon Smith of Smith Frozen Foods Inc.

Convention Chairman Bobby Ray of Allens Inc. welcomed delegates to the breakfast co-sponsored by Allens Inc. and Pliant Corp.

Chairman of the AFFI Board of Directors Jim Matthews of H.J. Heinz Company presided over the 68th Annual Meeting.

New AFFI President and CEO Kraig Naasz addressed the AFFI members attending the annual meeting.

Ed Flannagan of Jasper Wyman & Son presented the membership committee report.

As chair of the finance committee, Ray Walker of Patterson Vegetable Company gave AFFI's financial report.  

Reid Wagstaff provided an update about activities and plans of the Frozen Food Foundation.

Retiring Board Member Kurt Buckman of Bird's Eye Foods Inc. is thanked for his service by Chairman Jim Matthews and AFFI President and CEO Kraig Naasz.

 

John Geocaris of Little Lady Foods receives thanks for his service on AFFI's Board of Directors.

Frozun Foods Inc.'s Dave Yvanovich is recognized for his work on the AFFI Board.

Immediate Past Chairman of the AFFI Board Julia Wells of the Pictsweet Company gave the nominating committee report.

Newly elected Chariman of the Board Ray Walker presented a plaque to Jim Matthews in gratitude for his service as AFFI's 2008/2009 board chairman.

Convention Chairman Bobby Ray of Allens Inc. had his introduction of Bob Knight cut short... by the coach himself.

After being taken out of the game by Coach Knight, Bobby Ray exited the stage taking his chair with him as a safety precaution.

Keynoter Bob Knight invited Jenny Mitchell, AFFI's Vice President of Conventions and Meetings, to the platform to share the convention themes of unmistakable, undeniable and unconventional.

Convention delegates responded positively to Coach Knight's observations.

Following his  remarks, Coach Bob Knight took questions from an appreciative audience.
